Inland Northwest Behavioral Health has a dedicated 25 bed unit specifically designed for the inpatient behavioral healthcare of teens (ages 13-17) experiencing an emotional or behavioral crisis and may need the safety of 24-hour care by trained psychiatric professionals. An emotional and/or behavioral crisis is often recognized in teens when they express self-harm or feel extreme sadness.
Inland Northwest Behavioral Health’s interdisciplinary treatment team includes certified psychiatrists, counselors, psychiatric nurses, case managers and mental health technicians who work closely with the adolescent/teen and the adolescent/teen’s family. Our goal is to help each adolescent/teen regain the necessary skills to be in maximum control of their emotions and behaviors and be able to proceed through life with a minimum of difficulty. And because behavioral health issues vary, we tailor our inpatient services to meet the specialized needs of each patient.
